Jan Doms shows VOLGA CAR DUMP at IncArt

On Friday, May 18th 20:00 hrs the festive opening of the art festival IncArt - Inca, Mallorca (ES), will take place. IncArt includes the new composed glass wall sculpture of
Jan Doms: VOLGA CAR DUMP. 
This art work is inspired by his stay as artist-in-residence (2015) in Armenia and is shown in Claustre de Sant Domingo (first floor).


Jan Doms composed the glass wall sculpture 'Volga Car Dump' as one of the series of artworks that he produced after his tour in Armenia.

 

 

Wherever you go, everywhere you see the piled Volga's in the street scene. This legendary Russian-made car is very popular among taxi drivers.
To keep them running, they take 'new' parts from these Volga stacks.
