Jan Doms visits ARVESTARAN Center 28/05/2021

During Jan Doms' stay in Armenia for the realization of his new art project MOSKVICH PRIVAT CINEMA at the Museum 'The Gallery of Mariam and Eranuhi Aslamazyan Sisters' in Gyumri, there was also the opportunity to visit the ARVESTARAN Creative Development Center in Yerevan and its new housing, afterwards.

 

The center is initiated by the dancer and choreographer Hasmik Tangyan with whom Jan Doms created a performance in 2019 at the Armenian Center for Contemporary Experimental Art (ACCEA / NPAK) in Yerevan, in collaboration with Lilit Petrosyan (poetry).

Hasmik Tangyan is a performer, choreographer and dance therapist based in Yerevan, Armenia. In 2011 she founded the ARVESTARAN Creative Development Center in Yerevan, where she works as a dance therapist with children and adults with different abilities (Autism, CP, ADHD). 

 

Together with Harutyun Alpetyan, in 2018 Hasmik co-founded the Contemporary Choreography Lab (CoChoLab Armenia), where she is currently running the Contemporary Dance School.

 

The ARVESTARAN Creative Development Center, offers therapeutic, developmental and rehabilitation services for people of all ages and abilities in Yerevan, Armenia. The center has extensive training and experience providing well rounded care with an ethos centered on improving mental and physical health, building self-awareness and encouraging confidence. The new buiding looks awesome.
