The Mallorcan visual artist Marcos Vidal has put together the film and exhibition program of the new art space CAC Center d’art i creatió, Palma de Mallorca, Spain. During the opening of this new art space, the video animation film by Jan Doms & Iwona Roszbiewska and others will be shown during the opening. Jan Doms created the video animation film ‘architecture in motion - intercepted light’ in collaboration with Iwona Rozbiewska. Ernst Bonis created the Doms'Casio for his electronic music. And Agnieszka Zimiezewska took care of the graphic design.
The basis for this animation is formed by series of blind (relief-)prints, made by Jan Doms in the spring of 2019 in the Book Art Museum, Lodz, Poland, with the help of the printing press No. 9140 Karl Krause Leipzig.
This video animation film had its premiere screening with live music by Jan Doms on 25 April 2019 in Galeria Wschodnia, Lodz, Poland.
The Armenian premiere screening took place on August 19, 2019 at the Armenian Center for Contemporary Experimental Art in Yerevan and September 15 at the Mushtopia Festival in Gyumri. Download: invitation screening Intercepted Light CAC Mallorc |
