On Friday, September 6, the exhibition ‘Boomers Strike Back’ opened its windows to great public interest. The exhibiton ends October 27. The Metropolitan Museum Tilburg shows works of art from the vanguard of the arts day and night through ten windows at Stedekestraat 15 in Tilburg. Especially for this exhibition Jan Doms restored his hilarious assemblage artwork ‘Talking Heads’ (2005) and added the emergency number for art in Tilburg: +31 (13) 544 45 89 - available day and night for art emergencies ! The Metropolitan Museum is a welcome improvement in the Tilburg perspective on the arts, alongside Museum De Pont and Park, a platform for contemporary art, all located next to the beautiful Wilhelmina Park, designed by the Netherlands' most famous landscape architect Leonard Springer (1855 - 1940).
